The inspirations of my illustrations which are, if you like, “philosophical” come mainly from my extremely enriched and exciting past that during my almost 50 years of close contacts with foreign countries (of which my professional career of 37 years [1963-2000] in the industry of fragrances and flavors, a very creative and artistic profession) including my residence in Europe of almost 24 years, I frequently traveled almost all over the world and have witnessed inside out the lives of the rich, the middle and the poor classes, engraving in my heart the kaleidoscope of paradise and hell on earth.

During my professional career of nearly 24 years (1969-1993) in Europe  (Paris- Rotterdam-Brussels and again Paris), I managed almost most of the time several operations (subsidiaries) in Europe of a global company of fragrances and flavors. Also a past chairman of IFEAT (International Federation of Essential Oils & Aroma Trades).

Today, I indispensably would like to add here that the late Madam Adélia Hazama, spouse of Inosuke Hazama, Japanese painter, and a renowned art collector, in Nice, France, inspired me enormously regarding artistic creativity in those days. Madam Adélia Hazama had close professional relationships with many of the great painters of the 20th century such as Picasso, Matisse, Chagal, Laurencin, Braque, just to name a few. Here are 3 photos of Madam Adélia Hazama and the back of the photo 1)
